Straits Times Index is an index made of 30 publicly owned companies (stocks), based in the Singapore. Straits Times Index(STI) is a capitalization-weighted stock market index. STI considered benchmark index for the Singapore stock market. Index values are useful for investors to track changes in market values over long periods of time.
