CPI ( Consumer Price Index )


CPI
(Consumer Price Index) measures changes through time in the price level of consumer goods and services purchased by households.

The annual percentage change in a CPI is used as a measure of inflation.

CPI can be used to index the real value of salaries(wages), pensions, investments or assets.

CPI is one of the most closely watched national economic statistics.
